Welcome to R's PlacePrep ("PlacePrep", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at placeprep.app and related services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

PlacePrep is a free, independent project and is not currently registered as a company or legal entity. As the Platform grows, its structure and these Terms may change. We will update this page and the "Last updated" date when that happens.

Who can use PlacePrep

The Platform is intended for college and university students preparing for placements. You must be at least 13 years old and provide accurate information when you register.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
Do not share your account or impersonate anyone else.

Acceptable use

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

Cheat, tamper with, or attempt to bypass exam integrity measures (such as fullscreen enforcement or anti-copy protections)
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems
Scrape, copy, or redistribute content in bulk without permission
Upload malicious code, spam, or unlawful content
Disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Platform or its security
Misuse AI features or attempt to extract system prompts or provider keys

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Content and materials

Practice questions, previous year questions (PYQ), documentation, and other study materials are provided for educational and preparation purposes only. We make no guarantee that materials are complete, accurate, or up to date, and they should not be treated as official material from any company or university.

Company names, exam names (such as TCS NQT, Infosys IRT, and others), and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are referenced only for identification and educational purposes. PlacePrep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies or institutions.

User-submitted content

When you upload content (such as your resume, photo, or profile details) or submit answers, you keep ownership of your content but grant us permission to store and process it as needed to operate the Platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share whatever you upload.

Placements (T&P)

Placement posts and opportunities are shared for your convenience. We do not guarantee placement, interview calls, or any outcome. Applying through the Platform does not create any obligation on us or on any company or college. Verify all opportunities independently.

AI features

AI-assisted evaluation and exam generation are provided on a best-effort basis. AI output may contain errors and should not be relied on as a definitive assessment. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI output.

Availability and changes

The Platform is provided free of charge and "as is". We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
We may experience downtime, maintenance, or interruptions and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may modify or discontinue the Platform, in whole or in part, at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties
