Data Deletion

At R's PlacePrep ("PlacePrep", "we", "us", or "our"), you are in control of your data. This page explains what data we hold and how to request its deletion. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

PlacePrep is a free, independent project and is not currently registered as a company. As the Platform grows, this process may become more formalized, and we will update this page accordingly.

What data can be deleted

When you request deletion, we can remove:

• Your account information (name, email, university, college, branch, registration number)
• Your Training & Placement (T&P) profile, including personal details, academic records, Aadhaar number (if provided), and uploaded photo and resume
• Your exam attempts, answers, and performance history
• Placement applications you have submitted

How to request deletion

To request deletion of your account and data, reach out through one of our support channels:

Please send your request from, or reference, the email address associated with your account so we can verify it belongs to you.

What happens after you request deletion

• We will verify that the request comes from the account owner.
• We will delete your personal data and uploaded documents from our systems.
• Some information may remain in short-term backups for a limited time before being overwritten, and we may retain minimal records where required for security or legal reasons.
• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Withdrawing optional data

If you only want to remove optional information (such as your T&P profile or uploaded documents) without deleting your whole account, you can do so from your profile, or ask us for help.

Changes to this process

As the Platform grows or is formally registered, this deletion process may change. Any updates will be posted here with a new date.
