Placements

The TNP (Training and Placement) section helps you stay updated with placement opportunities posted by your college's TNP cell or by the super admin.

Accessing TNP Posts

  1. Click "Placements" from the navigation bar (available on both desktop and mobile)
  2. You will see a list of active placement posts that are relevant to your college and branch
  3. Use the Tabs to switch between:
    • Active — currently open placements you can apply to
    • Applied — placements you've already applied to
    • Past — expired or completed placements
  4. Use the Year Filter to show posts for a specific year (e.g., 4th Year, 3rd Year)

What You Can See

Each placement post includes:

  • Company Name — the company that is hiring
  • Role Offered — the job role or position (if mentioned)
  • Package (LPA) — the salary offered, in Lakhs Per Annum (if mentioned)
  • Deadline — the last date to apply
  • Eligible Branches — the branches that can apply
  • Eligible Years — the years that can apply (e.g., 4th Year, 3rd Year)
  • Apply Link — a direct link to apply (Google Form, external website, or other)
  • Attachments — any supporting documents uploaded by the admin (e.g., job description PDF)

How to Apply

There are two ways a placement may accept applications:

1. External Link / Google Form

  • The post has an apply link (Google Form or external website)
  • Click the "Apply" button to open the link in a new tab
  • After filling the form, click "I've Applied" in the drawer to track your application on the platform

2. Direct Apply (TNP Profile)

  • Some placements allow you to apply directly using your TNP Profile
  • These posts show an "Apply Directly" button instead of an external link
  • Clicking this button immediately submits your application — no external form needed
  • Requirement: You must have a completed and submitted (locked) TNP Profile to use direct apply
  • If your profile is missing or not locked, you'll be prompted to fill it first

Post Visibility

  • You will only see posts that are targeted to your college (or to all colleges)
  • You will only see posts that include your branch in the eligible branches list
  • Posts past their deadline are shown separately under the "Past" tab

Application Tracking

  • Once you apply, the post is moved to your "Applied" tab
  • You can see the status of your application (Applied, Submitted, etc.)

Note: The TNP section is only available for logged-in students. Make sure you are signed in to see placement posts.

TNP Profile

Your TNP Profile is a detailed placement form that stores all your personal, academic, and document information in one place. When a placement uses Direct Apply, your TNP Profile data is shared with the admin automatically.

Accessing Your TNP Profile

  1. Go to Dashboard → TNP Profile from the sidebar or the dashboard card
  2. If you haven't created a profile yet, click "Create Profile"
  3. If you already have a profile, you can view and edit it (unless it is locked)

How It Works

  1. Fill the form with all your details (see table below)
  2. Upload your photo and resume
  3. Submit the form — your profile is automatically locked after submission
  4. Once locked, you cannot edit your profile unless an admin unlocks it
  5. Your locked profile can then be used for Direct Apply on placement posts
